Traditional Organic Calendula Ointment

Calendula is anti-inflammatory, Antifungal, antimicrobial and healing. Useful topically for wounds, sores, minor burns, inflamed skin, insect bites, itchy skin conditions and dry skin.

The Manuka Bee’s wax in this balm has been sourced from bee’s located in the Byron Hinterland having its own antibacterial action.

Calendula is a popular ingredient in salves for horses and can help alleviate insect irritation, blanket or girth rubs, burns and wounds. Pastern dermatitis or ‘cracked heels’, also known as ‘Mud Fever’ can affect pink skinned areas that may present as weeping lumpy patches on the lower limbs. Calendula is a wonderful anti inflammatory with antimicrobial action to sooth this condition.

Ingredients: Organic infused Calendula, Chamomile and Comfrey in Almond oil, Organic Shea butter, Byron Hinterland Manuka Bee’s wax.
