It helps support their immune system, digestion and because it is a form of silica it is known to help horses gain strong hoofs, healthier and shinier coats and manes. The best results are when the horse is being consistently fed Diatomaceous Earth is used to help reduce internal and external worms and parasites in horses as well as providing them a boost of minerals such as calcium and magnesium to support a healthier digestion. Diatomaceous Earth is a great absorbent and will act to reduce odours in manures too.
